Festival of Colors

Markee and I

As you can see... I was covered!!

I had thee best weekend this weekend! I went with a friend, Markee, down to the Festival of Colors at the Hindu temple somewhere past Orem. Lol. I don't remember exactly what the town was called. Anyways when we got there what you do is you buy chalk and they have a HUGE chalk fight and they sing Hindu songs and stuff. It's like a huge celebration, obviously most everyone goes just for the chalk fight! I got so covered in chalk that I could like scrape it off my face. It was so much fun though! I now have a tie dyed shirt too because chalk does not come out of clothes... good thing I didn't wear anything nice. :) After we got Jamba Juice and everyone kept looking at us really weird because we were so covered in chalk! It was so much fun! And only 3 more weeks left of school!!

Job

Wow, after a year of searching I was finally able to find a job. I now work at the Layton Ross Store. I have been trying for so long to get a job and was pretty happy when I finally got one. I am so excited to finally be starting to make my own money! The only down side is that I want to be able to go visit my family this summer up in Washington... so I guess we will see what happens. I don't get paid very well though but right now a job is a job and I will take what I can get. Other than getting a job not much has really been happening. We had Spring Break this week and I was stuck at home working all week... that's money though right? I guess that's the only up side. :) I also was able to see Taely for a couple days while she was up in Salt Lake with her boyfriend Caleb. We had a great time! I also was in the Weber State paper and in the Stand Examiner so that was pretty cool to see myself in the newspaper. :)

Survival

Man it has been a very long time since I have been on here. I have been so busy with school! I finished my first semester of college, which was difficult but I passed all my classes with good grades so I was very happy! I also got to go home to Washington to visit my family which was a lot of fun! I am so grateful for the Secret Santa that allowed me to go up there! Thanks so much! It was the first time our whole family has been together in a while so it was really nice to finally have a family picture. :)

As for school I am now taking Human Anatomy, Chemistry, Nutrition, and Institute this semester. All of theses classes require a lot of studying so I spend most of my time doing homework and making flash cards. :) I still am in desperate need of a job, so if you know of anyone that has hook ups... let me know! Other than school I haver just been hanging out with friends and enjoying my time here. :)

Labor Day

For Labor Day Weekend I went with Alicia her Mom and her Mom's sister's family to East Canyon and had such a blast camping and boating! Me, Alicia, and Larry did some extreme tubing and ended up with some good battle wounds, especially Larry! :) He had a crash on a little kid's bike. We had such a blast!

College!

What a new exciting step in my life. I moved from Washington back to Utah to attend college at Weber State University. I am so excited to be here! I have only gone to about 3 weeks of school and I love it so much! I am taking English, Math, Psychology, Human Development, BOWLING!, and Institute! I love all my classes! I am having a blast meeting new incredible people! I live with my cousin Alicia with her uncle. It is such a neat place that we have set up here! Nothing too much exciting has happened yet but I'll be sure to keep you updated on fun exciting things!!

Me and my family waiting to go up the hill.

Car ride up to Trek... The only day we looked descent. lol

I HATED these clothes. lol

Me and Brother

Wow! Who knew that pushing a handcart could be so much fun! Trek was one of the best times in my life, seriously! I had such an amazing family, which I think made the whole experience so enjoyable! I envy the pioneers SO much! I can't believe how much they had to sacrifice for the church. I know that I had to give up a lot to go on Trek; cell phone, running water, my bed, and so many more things! The first 3 days we had to push the hand cart alot! the 3rd day we reached Zion and what a great time we had their. They let us wash our hair and our dinner and breakfast was catered. It was great. I love Trek so much and I miss my Trek family so much! I would do it again if I had the chance and I encourage everyone to go and to make the best out of it.

Graduation!!

The gang.

The family.

Wow, What a long 12 years of my life. lol. I went to Utah on Friday May 29th so that I could graduate from Seminary and get my yearbook and get my grades transferred from Camas High in Washington, where I attended the last semester of school at. I got so close to not being able to walk with Riverton because Camas wouldn't take the time to send my transcripts to Riverton, luckily last minute they did. My family came down Wednesday which was great that my Dad was able to take time out of work to come watch me Graduate. Graduation too FOREVER. There was 850 kids the graduated in my class. It felt good to know that I was finally going to move onto a new chapter in my life, and start working towards a career. YIKES! I don't want to grow up. lol. The trip was a lot of fun and was so glad we got to see our cousins.
